Product Description
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) sheets are available either as an amorphous or semi-crystalline thermoplastic. Whereas the amorphous type is highly transparent and has a lower mechanical strength, as well as substantially inferior sliding characteristics than the semi-crystalline type, semi-crystalline types have higher hardness, rigidity, and strength with outstanding sliding behavior and low sliding wear (compared to POM in damp or dry environments).
• Outstanding thermoforming characteristics, particularly in deep draw applications
• Good impact resistance
• Less brittle than acrylic
• Resistant to common cleaners used on point of purchase displays
