Product Description

SPL701 is a medium-high optical purity PLA (L-lactide >98%, melting point ≥160°C) specifically suitable for direct sheet extrusion without modification.

• Appearance: Off-white/creamy pellets (normal for PLA); extruded sheet is opaque to semi-transparent.

• Key properties: Good melt strength for stable sheet formation, heat resistance for hot fill (≤90°C) and low-power microwave reheating.

• Applications: Produce roll stock for thermoforming, flat sheets for cutting, disposable container blanks, and lid stock.

• Processing: Extrude on standard single-screw sheet lines. Pre-dry at 80°C for 4-6h (moisture <50ppm). Output rate lower than SPL101 but offers heat resistance.

• Note: Not for boiling, baking, or high-power microwave.
