Product Description

SPL101 is a low optical purity PLA (L-lactide >90%) designed for extrusion into highly transparent films and sheets.

• Appearance: Pellets appear off-white/creamy (normal for PLA); final film/sheet is crystal clear.

• Key properties: Melting point <160°C, MFI <5, low crystallinity, good flexibility.

• Applications: Fresh produce trays, salad boxes, cling wrap, soft fibers, and any non-heat-resistant transparent packaging.

• Processing: Suitable for blown film, cast film, sheet extrusion, and 3D printing. Dry at 80°C for 4-6h (moisture <50ppm).

• Not recommended for: Hot fill, microwave, or high-temperature applications.
