SPL701 Heat Resistant PLA Filament -High Purity for Durable 3D Prints

Description

SPL701 is a medium-high optical purity PLA resin (L-lactide >98%, melting point ≥160°C) suitable for producing 3D printing filaments with improved thermal stability over standard PLA.

• Raw material appearance: Off-white pellets (typical for PLA). Filament can be opaque or colored.

• Key properties: Higher heat resistance than low-purity PLA; glass transition ~60°C. For microwave use: only low-power, short-time reheating (not for boiling or high heat).

• Applications: Drinkware, lunch boxes (warm food), tool handles, parts exposed to moderate heat, and general 3D printing where some heat deflection is needed.

• Processing: Extrude into filament on standard lines. Pre-dry at 80°C for 4-6h (moisture <50ppm).

• Printing tips: Nozzle 200-220°C, bed 50-60°C. Annealing can increase heat deflection temperature moderately.
